The first recorded Partine,(Partain,Parton, Partin) to land in America. He sailed to America on "The Blessing" in June 1609 to James City, VA. He had 2 indentured servants, Thomas Hayle, 20 who sailed over on the "George" in 1623, and Ellen Cook, 25, who sailed over on the "London Merchant" in 1620. Robert Partine had a Patents Granted for 150 acres at Charles City, VA in 1626, but due to hardships of those early years, some how lost it by 1630. On Nov 23,1637, he leased 40 acres near Eliz City County VA, near the Great house of Widow Thompson land, bound East by the same, by the South on the Fort Field, West on land of Robert Brasheare, fee rent yearly 1 barrel of sound sweet Indian corn, provided during term he shall sufficiently people and plant said land. p. 171:John Seward received 1,200 acres in Isle of Wight Co., Apr. 15,
1648, on a branch of Roynoak River called the black water, for
transportation of 24 persons, including Robert Partin, Margret his wife,
Robert Partin, Jr., Avis, Rebecca, Debora, his daughters.
p. 62: Capt. Francis Hooke rec'd 100 acres in E!izabeth City Co., 9 Aug.
1657.Said land being in the tenure & occupation of Robert Partin &
Gresham Covell.
p. 76: Robert Partin received a 21 year lease for 40 acres in EIiz. City
Co., 24 Nov. 1637."Between the great howse & the Widdowe Tompson land,
bounded E. by the same, S. on the fort feild, W. on land of Robert
Brasheare & N. to the Church."Fee Rentyearely: 1 bbl. sound & sweete
Indian Corne, provided during sd. term he shall sufficiently people &
plant sd. land.
p.112: John Howell received 150 acres in Henrico Co., 10 June 1639, "N.
upon Robert Partin."
p.165: Walter Aston received 1,040 acres in Charles City Co., Aug.12,
1646, 250 acres on the great river, E. on Causeys plantation, S. upon
Capt. Epps' land in the island & N. on land of Robert Partin.
p.167 Daniell Lluellin received 956 acres, 100 acres of which was
purchased of Robert Partin, the elder, granted said Partin Feb, 20,
1619, & conveyed by Robert Partin the elder &Robert Partin the younger,
his son, unto said Lluellin by deed dated 13 Apr. 1642.(Note: land in
Henrico Co.)
p.317: Capt. Daniel Lluellin, 656 acres in Chas. City Co., 63 of which
was lately purchased of Robert Partin, & Robert Partin, Jr.(grant
dated 10 Mar. 1655).
p.492: Dennis Eyes & Dennis Connaway received 270 acres in
Northumberland Co.,11 Mar. 1662, on N. side of Great Wicomico Riv., for
transportation of 6 persons, one of whom was Samuel Partin.
p.500: Thomas Brereton received 1500 acres in New Kent Co., 26 Nov.
1662, for transportation of 30 persons, one of whom was Samuel Partin.
p.471: Wm. Browne, Daniell White & Wm. Boltrop received 744 acs. in
Westmoreland Co. for transportation of 15 persons, one of whom was Mary
Partin.
p.486: Daniell Wild & Francis Kirkman rec'd 2000 acres in Westmoreland
Co., 27 Oct. 1663, for transportation of 40 persons, one of whom was
Mary Partin.
p.496: Major David Cant rec'd 912 acres, 1 Oct. 1663, on S. side of
Peanketanke Riv. for transportation of persons, one of whom was Mary
Partin
p.515-516: Wm.Sale received 130 acres in James City Co., 30 Aug.1664,
for transportation of 3 persons, one of whom was Mary Partin
p. xxix:"Ancient Planters" - Robert Partin, aged 36 in 1624, came in
the Blessing (ship) in June 1609; wife Margaret mentioned in The Journal
of the Council and General Court, p. 150.

The last known entry for Robert and Margaret was in 1666 in Charles City, VA where David Lluellin had purchased 63 acs. of Shirley Hundred by Robert Partin , Srnow 70 years old and Robert Partin, Jr, now 44 years old.
"New World Immigrants #1 " by Tepper page 88 where Robert Partin bought a maid servant name Dorothy Scott for 12 pounds of tobacco on April 26, 1637. She came on the ship "Trisamt Jane"which left England in the late 1636.
